Bertolo is a firm founded in 1981. Located at Vergiate, Varese, 10 minutes from airport of Malpensa and 30 km from Milan. We produce men and women knitwear with materials such as pure 100% carded and combed cashmere, 70% cashmere and 30% silk, tasmania wool super 120 and super 140, thin cottons and linens. Bertolo strength is the production of sweater made on finesse 30 gauge, thin and very prestigious, maximum comfort feather weight. Best quality and thin like hair yarns are needed to produce these sweaters. These yarns are processed on special machines with thin needles. The smacchinatura requires very experienced hands and many hours of work. Assembling is performed with machines where workers must thread point by point. We need a lot of precision and perfect eyes. The finishing is entirely made by hand. Clothing are then washed in water with special soaps and softeners to ensure the measures and the highest quality. The 100% cashmere yarns are made in Scotland and are synonymous of high quality. The length of the fiber is, in fact, greater than 4 mm in length. Women collection also use the cashmere stretch that allows us to obtain the maximum mesh comfort and lightness. Thin soft, crep fresh cottons are used for summer sweaters, completely dropped. Hand-painted and hand-embroidered jerseys (true masterpieces) are mixed with lightweight cashmere. We use only natural materials buttons, like nacre and corozo. Cashmere high quality italian style.
